At the Council Meeting on Monday 9th August 2010 the Council confirmed the cancellation of the Dinner Dance for 2010 due to lack of support

How Much LONGER CAN THE ANNUAL DINNER DANCE SURVIVE?

The Dinner Dance was cancelled last year due to lack of numbers and in fairness has struggled for several years supported by only the few.
The Social Sub Committee of your Council has discussed this year’s event and decided that the closing date for ordering tickets is 30th June 2010.
Ticket application forms have been sent to all 164 members and as of today only 11 tickets have been sold

The venue for our annual Dinner and Dance this year is once again Bounds Green Bowls Club, Brownlow Rd. London N11 at 6.30 for 7.00pm on Saturday 23 October 2010.

Tickets cost £22.50 per head. There will be a 4-course dinner followed by after-dinner speeches, dancing and a raffle.

Dress will be lounge suits, dinner jackets or highland dress.

Prizes for the raffle would be much appreciated.

Applications for tickets, accompanied by a cheque or cash should be made on the attached slip and sent to Jim Lumsden by 30th June 2010 please.
